Discover all the freshness and authentic fragrance of wild lily of the valley, as if freshly picked from the forest. This lovely bouquet, made up of 3 to 6 rooted mini bunches, is gently nestled in natural moss to preserve its freshness.

Each bunch contains 10 sprigs with roots and a few leaves. You can replant your lily of the valley and enjoy its blooms again the following year – a beautiful way to keep the joy alive.
To ensure optimal longevity, the lily of the valley is shipped while still closed.

Lily of the valley bouquet delivery by Aquarelle

Spring is fast approaching and with it, all the lovely flower varieties which nature offers us. Lily of the valley is a perennial plant which flowers during the spring in the undergrowth. Each stem is adorned with small bell-shaped white flowers which release a very distinctive, sweet scent.

Aquarelle’s Lily of the valley: the story of a family tradition

Aquarelle offers lily of the valley for 1 May, hand-picked in the traditional way by about 120 flower-picking families in the Bresse forest. Once they are carefully picked, strands of lily of the valley are assembled in France in Mervans, a small village which has been a traditional market for the plant for 60 years.

Characteristics of Aquarelle’s lily of the valley

Aquarelle’s lily of the valley is highly scented and is characterised by its long-lasting bloom. As an added bonus, it is hand-picked with its roots intact and delivered in soft moss, which allows you to replant it in the soil and watch it flourish over the years that follow.

How do I replant lily of the valley ?

When you buy lily of the valley with its roots intact, you can replant it in the soil outdoors. Lily of the valley enjoys being in a shady spot. You can replant it at the foot of a tree or beside a North-facing wall. Once replanted, lily of the valley propagates rapidly, so choose a spot where it can spread. Don’t be afraid to put it in damp areas where you would like to see lily of the valley grow, to encourage its proliferation.
