How to care for a Dendrobium Nobile?
Temperature: indoors between 18° and 20°C, outdoors above 5°C.
Light: strong and abundant light is necessary for the orchid to grow and flower; do not expose to direct sunlight in summer to avoid burning the leaves.
Watering: adjust the frequency according to the temperature and light in summer. Water every 8-10 days indoors (18°-20°C), 2 to 3 times a month only when the temperature is 10°C. Above all, avoid over-watering, which would harm the plant.
Outdoors: you can take your orchid outside from April to October if night-time temperatures exceed 5°C. In October, as soon as the buds appear, bring your plant back indoors, where it will flower in January/February. To keep it flowering, water it sparingly and, if possible, keep it cool at night between 10°C and 15°C.
