The following care tips, which will be included with your order, will help your recipient enjoy this plant for as long as possible:
- Exposure: Choose a spot with plenty of light and ideally sunny for a good part of the day. Remember to remove any damaged leaves and flowers as they appear.
- Temperature: Minimum 8 °C in winter or summer. This plant does not like the cold or draughts
- Watering: It requires very little water as it stores it naturally. In winter you should even let the soil dry out. Start watering again lightly in the spring, as soon as the leaves start to open.
- Fertilisation: Once a month, from May to October
- Repotting: When necessary, repot in a special cactus mix.
- Outside: Your Adenium can be left outside in the summer, avoiding extreme heat which could dry out your plant and a sudden change could distress it.
- NB: It is not uncommon for the leaves to drop in the winter when it is resting, but they will grow again in the spring.
